I spend too much time here; over the years the stuff has been moved and bumped and subjected to all kinds of heat, cold and humidity. Some things have been taped up and taken apart and rigged in whatever way in order to keep working. There is not much prettiness or order and could use a bit of cleaning. There are probably several cables or basic things that need replacing and equipment that most musicians wouldn't give the time of day to, but will try to give some technical background on how the music is created from the ground up...this is simply the method that has worked for me, for better or worse, on a very tight budget and at times, less-than-favorable circumstances.
At the center of it all is the Ensoniq ASR-10. It took me about 10 years to really learn everything that it can do and never had a SCSI drive- the samples i did save are still on floppy; but for the most part the sounds i use for each track are unique to each track, and so not saved anymore. Presently, after several years [...]

To be against something is to negate, whereas positing; where ultimately, the ideas IS God, is an act of creativity. Often those who assume an adversarial position are not fully acquainted with the futility of the sword and, if victorious, eventually assume the posture of the defeated. So, this coincides with the concept of "align with your enemies".
Since the art of war has not changed, but only the warriors and the tools- first, the wealthier neighbor is made an enemy, then an army is formed and invasion ensues, all wealth of the world is stolen property...so that freedom-lovers become tyrants themselves, obviously missing the point that the revolution begins in perception, when the idea becomes a liberating reality instead of a curse.
The doors of perception open to lead us to an upheaval regarding the primary aspects of existence: Time, money, self, work and others; casting away belief systems based on the fear of death. Again, from an anti- disease, anti-war, anti-poverty mode to a [...]

Re-searching a concept that may be a reality- that we should be open, not only in an envelope, but what does the envelope contain? And what or who is the sender- what is the message? Now that we have been given opportunity to transmit ideas, is the idea that being open to transmissions from the future itself NOW? Regarding the revenge against organized religion, or even organization itself; in that hatred must be given a temple- what must be primary from the religious themselves; that one cannot hate what one is not. It is true the state of materialism has reached a climax that the absurdity is realized- nothing must exist; or that the unseen becomes a relevant part of psychic discourse. Those that struggle with belief ("Belief kills, belief cures") are experienced with doubt; always the duality arises and we are urged to reconcile, in order to pro-seed. The seed is anger- the planter is mother; it is the most sacred bond.
The idea is also God- that we perpetuate illusions to transcend [...]

Once i was given a miniature fake Christmas tree while i was living in a one bedroom, far from the noise of the outside world. I never set it up or decorated it, instead it remained in the beat-up box until i re-discovered it some time after... I thought a more clever place for it would be with it's natural brethren, the woods outside my door. So, i drug it quite a ways, given the smallness of the woods in an average community, when one seeks solace, never really escaping the noise of traffic and human busy-ness.
Not only was this a sort of "prank" or a type of art, it was, in a way how i approach the very concept of transmission and reception between artist and viewer. In an online consumer media-saturated culture, a world of material plenty, still the consumer is bombarded- terrorized by promotion and advertisement. Most (music) now is listened to thoroughly before it is actually bought- gone are the days of dollar tape bins, artifacts of "unknown" art, which was a sort of adventure. [...]

i have never had a problem being individual, nor creative- even to an extreme, a hermetic...so i am more interested in the intercourse of ideas, which includes transmissions, art and sound. It seems that culture is over-saturated with selfishness. This, viscerally i understand from a primal point of view. Silence means submission. Everyone broadcasts without regard for the listener. This, sometimes is seen as bold or courageous. This actually seems to be an assault, or a campaign, as in commerce and advertising. IF it is art, then, surely one conveys what is in their "heart" because there is no other way to maintain balance. But often i am turned off by egotism or vanity, from someone who suffers from his own imposed criticisms and looking further into the consequences, there are millions of speaking mouths all screaming to be validated, if not for themselves.
This being said, listening is what i naturally gravitate towards and observation. It can be passive, but at the same time require [...]
